Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj is the Founding Chairman of Darshan Education Foundation. An IIT Madras graduate in Electrical Engineer-ing, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj also holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technolo-gy (IIT) in Chicago. He has had a distinguished 20-year career in sci-ence, computers and communications.
He believes in integrating both meditation and spiritual curriculum into a traditional academic environment.

Meditation

Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj is the head of Science of Spirituality, known in India as Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission. It is a global, non-profit organisa-tion, focused on transforming lives through meditation. With members around the world, Science of Spirituality has made a mark for itself across the globe with more than 3,200 centres as a beacon of peace, love, unity and service to humanity. The organisation also promotes projects to edu-cate people about the importance of ecology and the environment.

Born in India and educated in both India and the United States, Sant Raj-inder Singh Ji Maharaj has a deep understanding of both spirituality and science. He travels around the world sharing the message that through meditation, we can tap into the inner peace that awaits us within, and in do-ing so, we can contribute to outer peace. He has been invited to deliver keynotes and lead meditation sessions at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. In his address in May 2016, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj explained how meditation can pave the way to building bridges of unity, love and outer peace in the world. He has spoken at esteemed academic institutions such as All India Institute of Medical Sci-ences (AIIMS), IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, Harvard University, University of Cali-fornia, Berkeley, Catholic University in Quito, Ecuador, and the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, to name a few.

Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj has authored numerous books and publica-tions that have been translated into over 55 languages, a testament to the global relevance of his message of peace.
